Fungal Ecology
How does the environment shape fungal communities? What is the impact of global change on taxonomic, functional, and genetic diversity of fungi? In my work, I address such questions across multiple spatial and temporal scales. Although I am highly interested in ecological theories, I also embrace applied aspects of ecology, making my work relevant for practitioners and decision-makers.
Interests: • Global Change Ecology • Macroecology • Functional Ecology • Deadwood Ecology • Biotic interactions
